This is how our Acqua Loaf came about, a bread that is the result of the good work of several generations who, with their knowledge and experience, have created a simple, fresh, painstaking, patient and authentic recipe made with respect and love for such a noble food as bread.

Wheat flour of exceptional quality, chosen specifically to softly embrace its great ally, water, and create a balanced dough.
Its dough, which is very moist, is especially delicate, which is why the care and respect we invest in the whole process is fundamental. This is the only way it can achieve its full potential.
Its preparation is a long process, which allows small air bubbles to germinate; they are the beginning of what will later become a bread with a honeycombed and moist crumb.
Baked in a Stone Base Oven and following an artisan tradition that gives this bread its final texture. With its great baking power, it produces an extremely honeycombed crumb, a crunchy, rustic crust and an unmistakable flat base.
