Panamar Bakery Group puts into circulation in Madrid a CNG-powered (Compressed Natural Gas) lorry, which reduces the environmental impact of urban deliveries. This lorry reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by around 25% compared to a gasoline model, and nitrogen oxide (NOx) by up to 75% compared to the diesel variety, while particulate matter and sulphur dioxide (SO2) are almost nil. It has attractive lettering next to the ECO label which allows it to access in Madrid areas where access for other vehicles is restricted.
