Diversify your breakfasts and attract more customers

Breakfast is considered one of the essential meals of the day. You don’t crave the same thing every morning, but there is more awareness (and acceptance) around one concept: a healthy breakfast.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. After spending a night without eating, your body wants food. Therefore, it’s recommendable that breakfast consist of nutritious products that provide the energy needed to start a new day.

What breakfast is best? That will depend on many factors, including, for example, age. Of course, the most general recommendations include that it should contain some dairy, carbohydrates (such as bread), protein (such as chopped pork), fruit and healthy fats (such as avocado). With this in mind, what to offer at your cafeteria or bakery? Above all, different types of products to diversify what you offer and so gain from it.

For the little ones, for example, the milk bread is ideal, since it has a soft crust and a soft, fluffy crumb that make it very easy to eat (by the way, it is also the most suitable for the elderly for the same reasons). Moreover, milk bread is rich in calcium and protein, which undoubtedly make it a perfect food for the little ones, who can eat it alone or with a slice of ham or chopped pork.

In the case of students, you can always offer your customers a tasty loaf with nuts. Not only is its combination of cereals and nuts ideal for a healthy breakfast, but nuts are also rich in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, which are key to good mental performance. If this bread is served with avocado and cottage cheese, the result will be as tasty as it is energising.

There are also other types of needs. If, for example, one of your customers tells you about their commitment to sport, you can’t but recommend products with cereals, since they’re rich in protein and suitable for good physical development. Buying frozen bread with these characteristics to have pre-baked bread at your establishment is, without doubt, key. What exactly can you offer? Products as delicious and nutritious as a cereal loaf, a rustic loaf, a rye bread or a wholemeal bread high in fibre. They can be accompanied with extra virgin olive oil and serrano ham, marinated salmon, tuna, fat-free turkey or egg.

Rye bread, in fact, is ideal for another group: the elderly. And the fact is that rye, for example, improves blood circulation, among other benefits. Besides classic, artisanal and natural,  rye loaves, you can also try other products such as rye and spelt bread  , which are high in fibre. Avocado, by the way, also goes perfectly with this option.

Variety is the spice of life

Frozen bakery doughs let you satisfy all tastes and needs throughout the day. At breakfast, besides frozen pre-baked bread, don’t forget sweet or savoury pastries, from the perennial favourites such as butter or margarine croissants or pains au chocolat, to the most innovative products such as apple strudels or puff pastry. Muffins are always a popular option.

As are frozen bakery products. Thanks to their production and preservation process, they retain all their characteristics. Besides, its artisanal formula keeps intact all its nutritional properties and all its qualities such as flavour and texture. Therefore, having frozen bakery dough at your business will allow you to diversify what you offer without losing the slightest hint of quality.

Breakfast continues to be one of the undisputed main events of the day. That’s why the more products you can offer at your establishment, the easier it will be to give customers what they need to enrich their mornings and start their day on the right foot.
